I haven't experienced it just yet; but there was one sister that told me to watch out for my husband because there were hungry voltures surrounding him at the meetings when I didn't attend.
So, should he become weak, the possibility sure is there. At this point in life I feel pretty secure with my man, but one never knows.
I'm the type that feels very happy when with a man, but have been pretty happy as well when I've been single. So, no worries either way here.

You gotta find your counterparts to make it bearable in this Organization. We sure found our kindred spirits and we're living it up.
Yesterday we went to this place, like a farm, and we did some serious dancing, dominos playing and socializing, the kids played all afternoon, and we just had a lot of laughs and such a nice time!!!
All Witnesses in good standing that just play it not so uptight like so many in our congregation.

My husband and I are in the Hispanic side of the Watchtower and we’re having a grand time. Just imagine, Caribeans partying a lot!
We just found a group of others like us that don’t necessarily agree with everything in the religion, but that don’t want to leave it either.
So we just hang out together, do our drinking, our nice partying on a weekly basis and carry on merrily. We’re a cool click within an uptight click, per say. Life is good!
Show me a person who doesn't have a struggle with his religion and I'll show you a liar. Just have to find the ones like you and make it fun for the duration!

My husband and I are in the Hispanic side of the Watchtower and we’re having a grand time. Just imagine, Caribeans partying a lot!

hope everything is fine with you all.. worked my charm so that the book study meeting didn't happen in my home.

Parents and friends, really. Can't affort at this time to lose the good relationship with them all.
My folks are just so sweet and nice, and also other people I know in the religion. We just hang out and have a really good thing going.
Planning to slowly fade soon. Just haven't quite figured out how to fade out and still keep the relationships working.

HELP!!! Hubby turning home into 'Book Study'
by Skeptically Yours inmy husband, who's a ministerial servant, was approached by an elder and asked if he'd offer our home to become a 'book study' meeting place.. i'm a bit of a loner, and need lots of peace, quiet, privacy, and solitude; plus to boot you all know i'm living this sort of double life, you know, just doing the very minimum to remain a witness.. this is awful!!!!!!!!!!
i can't deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your ideas and support.
Hubby and I went out for breakfast the other day and I told him nicely that there's much needed house work to be done and that having the book study is a major inconvenience at this time.
I'm watching him closely now; should he pull the JW male chauvinist attitude I'll announce that if the book study is placed at my house, I'm just not going to attend that meeting, ever!!!
He'll be sooooooooo upset for a while, but ultimately he'll get over it.
